A.P.E records were short-lived, this is the first 12″ from them i’m archiving. A sublime piece of trip hop stringy rolling beats and bassline moody funk soundscapery. £30 on Discogs too!!! Oh hang on that’s because the Gaslamp Killer has used it on a mix.. ouch!

Written by John Harris and Mike Burnham (Mike went onto to be a member of the highly acclaimed Heliocentrics), I can’t find any more info on John Harris.

The Heliocentrics made an EP with Gaslamp Killer, I wonder if this is where the friendship was formed to point him in the direction of this track for his mix?
